Starting in early October 2022 IMDIA held Equipment Maintenance training which was held at the IMDIA Secretariat, Jakarta. The training was carried out for 5 days under the guidance of IMDIA instructors who had previously graduated and received a certificate of competence in the field of equipment maintenance. This training is a preparation training for participants to take the national certification ability test in the field of equipment maintenance which will be held on October 25-27 2022.
Equipment Maintenance is one of the fields of work that implementation of the competency test adopts a certification system from Japan. In implementing the national certification equipment maintenance basic, participants are asked to do the wiring according to the time chart requested by the assessor team. In addition, participants were also asked to do problem solving on existing cable circuits where there were missing cables and broken cables, and participants were also asked to identify damaged relay and timer.
The certification exam will be held on October 25-27 2022 at Denso Indonesia, Cibitung.
Participants who successfully pass the practical and theoretical exams will receive a certificate which will be issued by the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP) through the Indonesian Mechanical Metal Professional Certification Institute (LSP LMI). IMDIA hopes that more human resources in the manufacturing industry, especially in the mold & dies sector, will have this kind of certification so that the quality of Indonesian human resources will increase.
