The Indonesia Mold & Dies Industry Association (IMDIA) in collaboration with JETRO and the Ministry of Industry will hold a Mold & Dies seminar and reverse exhibition 2 to introduce small and medium mold/dies companies. This event will be held on 28 February – 1 March 2023 at the Exhibition Plaza of the Ministry of Industry Building.
Reverse Exhibition 2 consists of 15 IMDIA member companies that will showcase the capabilities of each company and several set maker companies, including PT. Astra Daihatsu Motor, PT. Panasonic Life Solutions Manufacturing Indonesia and several other companies that will display component parts that are still imported from abroad, the target is to find a local company that can support these parts so that the localization of mold & die components in Indonesia is increasing.
The opening of the exhibition will begin with a seminar with speakers regarding efforts to localize mold & dies, including “Policies related to Mold & Dies from the Ministry of Industry”, “progress and challenges of mold/dies in Indonesia”, and efforts to domestically produce components in the automotive and electronics industry and expectations for local mold manufacturers.
