As the beginning of the 2023 fiscal year, IMDIA started with the IMDIA General Meeting which was held on 17 May 2023. This event was held at PT Mekar Armada Jaya Tambun Plant, Bekasi. This year’s General Meeting was attended by 85 participants from active IMDIA member companies. The event started at 14.00 with IMDIA’s 2022 activity report and 2023 activity plan as well as future challenges. All reports and IMDIA activity plans were approved by all participants.
As a closing of the general meeting, a Master Assessor certificate was awarded to IMDIA instructors who have consistently helped implement IMDIA training activities for 5 years. They are Mr. Hans Suryo Hariwibowo from PT KMK Plastics Indonesia (Mechanical Inspection), Mr. Muryanto from Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia (Die Finishing), and Mr. Hans Suryo Hariwibowo from PT KMK Plastics Indonesia (Mechanical Inspection). Restu Sulistio Nugroho from PT Trimitra Citrahasta (Press Design), Bapak. Rikoo Anggraita Megaharu from Nusa Keihin Indonesia (Casting Design) and Mr. Rikoo. Sulistyo Widodo from PT Panasonic Gobel Indonesia (Robot Welding).
After that, followed by factory visit to PT Mekar Armada Jaya Tambun Plant and PT Ito Seisakusho Armada. The factory visit was divided into 4 groups and guided by PT Mekar Armada Jaya to tour various areas of the company. PT Mekar Armada Jaya has just received an award from PT Astra Daihatsu Motor as The Best Supplier. The factory visit participants were happy to be given the opportunity to visit PT Ito Seisakusho Armada and PT Mekar Armada Jaya which have advanced technology and can be used as a reference to improve the quality of the factory visit participants.
With the end of the IMDIA 2023 general meeting, this is the beginning of IMDIA activities in 2023, therefore the secretariat requests support and cooperation from all IMDIA members so that IMDIA can be useful and have a positive impact on the progress of the mold & dies industry in Indonesia.
